Airports

Gatwick Airport

Second largest London airport, south of London. Used by many US airlines.

Heathrow Airport

Largest London airport. Most British Airways and some US airline flights use Heathrow.

Luton Airport

Smaller airport north of London. Many of the European discount airlines (Ryanair, EasyJet) use Luton. SilverJet, goes from the US East Coast to Luton.

Stansted Airport

Smaller airport north of London. Many of the discount airlines (Ryanair, EasyJet) use Stansted.

Towns

Bath (SV)

Beautiful Georgian town, with a good selection of hotels, restaurants and shops, on the southern edge of the Cotswolds.

Brighton (SV)

Lovely town on the seaside, straight south from Gatwick Airport.

Cambridge (SV)

University town close to Stansted and Luton airports.

Oxford (SV)

University town on the edge of the Cotswolds, but close to Heathrow, Luton and Stansted airports.

Salisbury (SV)

Nice town with hotels, restaurants, shops. Near Stonehenge.

Windsor (SV)

Historic town with Windsor Castle, home of the Royal family, close to Heathrow airport.
