Directions: Going from Stow on the Wold on the A424 in the direction of Broadway/Evesham (north-west), the shop is on your left just past the sign for the village of Longborough.
The Cotswold Food Store offers its customers a huge variety of foods ranging from locally sourced vegetables, meat, eggs and bread to charcuterie, hams and pates in its deli counter. Freshly prepared meals by their resident chef can be taken away along with home made cakes, biscuits, wines and beers.
Richard Chamberlain, owner of the store and self confessed foodie, is passionate about their food and knowing where it comes from. They have established a top class selection of local food and drink sourced from farmers, growers and artisan producers throughout the Cotswolds.
The shop boasts one of the best cheese selections in the region offering customers over 90 different cheeses of which 25 come from the Cotswolds.
The adjoining cafe offers freshly made sandwiches, soups and hot dishes all made on site using the ingredients from the shop. There is an outside terrace with views of the spectacular Cotswold countryside.
