<description>Hi Angie! There might be snow on Friday in northern England, but Saturday is supposed to be clear. I think the food in England is good. We have been doing our own cooking mostly with wonderful winter vegetables straight from the farm (the owners of our cottage run an organic farm and sell at the Saturday Stroud market).

You can get good meals in the tea rooms (breakfast and lunch); many pubs serve good food; most towns have Indian restaurants; and there are small independently owned restaurants. Vegetarian food (lacto-vegetarian, with dairy) is very easy to find. Vegan (vegetarian, no dairy) is more difficult. Most places serve fish (that is what Steve gets when we go out).

Have a great trip!

		<description>Hi Pauline,
Sounds like you must be feeling a little settled in. What kind of food are you eating? I am going to England for the first time next weekend but to North Yorkshire.
